The environmental festival started at 10:00 am with the concert of the baglama ensemble of Turkish Folk Music Chorus which is founded by the environmental volunteers group of employees in the body of Siemens Social Club.

After the concert the CEO of Siemens A.Ş. Dr. Zafer Incecik made a speech. He said that by the project named "the Environment and Our Future" within the scope of the environmental activity which they started nearly 9 years ago, Siemens reached over ten thousand primary school children.

Dr. Incecik explained that under the cover of that project Siemens volunteers were worked to improve the environmental awareness of primary school children.

Dr. Zafer Incecik underlined that Siemens Environmental Volunteers who would be celebrating their 10th anniversary next year, would keep supporting the propagation of environmental awareness in Turkey. After him the General Editor of Miço Magazine, "Yalvaç Abi" of the children Yalvaç Ural made a speech saying that he had never witnessed such an activity with such a great participation targeting the improvement of the environmental awareness of children before. He gave messages pointing out the necessity of greater environmental consideration.

On the festival where Sefarad Band entertained the Siemens employees and their families with songs, entertaining activities for children were also performed. On the 9th Environmental Festival of Siemens, regarding the improvement of environmental awareness of children, the children formed creative pieces of art by using waste materials and also Kartal Sanat Theater performed a play for them.
