These contracts are made after reaching agreement with dealers and prepared in order to protect both side's benefits. The amends issue is valid in an unfair annulment situation for both sides. It is not true that one of the dealers is forced or pushed to difficult situations. After canceling the contract on January 2004, Sinyalizasyon Ltd. Şirketi is continuing its business as our competitor, as they made announcements to Competition Board. The person who told the claims in the newspapers is one of our old dealers. His dealer agreement was cancelled on 9th of January 2004 because of evading regulations.

Therefore, he is in contestation with our firm. Moreover, the legal process has started because of the unfair competition activities done by the person in question.

In Turkey, many firms join these related bids. In Turkey, there are 80 firms joining those bids by their own or with their dealers. There are standard prices applied on its dealers by Siemens A.Ş. In those bids there is an intense competition. Siemens A.Ş dealers do not have the power to prevent the bids and to increase the prices by not attending the bids.

Siemens Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. does not have a relation with Amber Elektronik A.Ş. and Rayennur Elektrik Elektronik Ulaşım Endüstri San. Tic. Ltd. as it is claimed reverse. Also, the operation areas of Rayennur Elektrik Elektronik Ulaşım Endüstri San. Tic. Ltd. and our firms Traffic Systems Section are not in line with each other.

It cannot be discussed that Siemens A.Ş. opened or encouraged to open a new firm in any of the related areas. It is noticed after the denunciation of the said person that 3 employees of Siemens Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş are working in the said company. After evaluating the denunciation, our company cancelled the business contracts of those persons according to the ethical rules, before this inquiry conducted by the Competition Board was in agenda.
