The first training program of Siemens Akademi, which is to pursue the development of the capabilities of professionals, will focus on the field of "health-care".
Siemens Akademi was designed as a creative, renovating and different Learning Center for professionals who want to learn how to compete with the new technology and global conditions. The Center will offer its services both in national and international levels in coordination with the well-known universities, research centers and professional organizations of USA and Europe. Siemens Akademi will give courses on the fields of Medical Solutions, Automation and Control, Energy Management, Communication Systems, Transportation Systems, and Building Technologies, and its graduation certificates which will be in compliance with European standards will be given by universities.
The first learning program of Siemens Akademi will be on the field of "health-care". Siemens Akademi Health-Care Programs aim to offer all actors related with the health-care industry including mainly hospital managers, managing doctors, and nurses, self-development and career planning services which will be a solution partner with their problems and help them to develop their targets and visions.
Siemens Akademi to provide services in US and European standards
Siemens Akademi will offer its leadership, management and communication skills courses for professionals in partnership with Duke University Management Courses Center, which was selected in 2004 as one of the world's leading educational centers by Financial Times and other major media associations. Trainings for health-care industry will be carried out in partnership with medical, health-care and nursing faculties from USA and European Union. Participants will be qualified to receive the certificates of both Siemens Akademi and the international universities following their courses in classrooms as well as internet-based courses.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Siemens Akademi, Siemens A.Ş. CEO Dr. Zafer İncecik told they aimed with this project to maintain all their partners to work more productively, and benefit from the offered solutions. Stating that Siemens Akademi will give training in European Union standards, İncecik said, "We regard contributing to the constant development of our partners and our society in cooperation with the world famous research and development and educational organizations and also by using the capabilities provided by information age, as an economical requirement and a social responsibility".
Speaking also at the ceremony, Siemens Akademi Executive Prof. C. Ruhi Kaykayoğlu, said, "We aim to increase the competitive edge of our country's health-care industry through courses to increase its perfection in a wide range of subjects from leadership to management, and from clinical technologies to patient-care processes". Prof. Kaykayoğlu also added that Akademi targeted to raise the quality of the health provision services in the nearby geography of Balkans, Central Asian Republics and Middle East countries too, as well as in Turkey.
