1Siemens Art continues its support for new artists and their experimental studies by holding its series of "strategies", where new approaches for classical fields of art are covered. The exhibition of "Strategies No.2: Space&Form" aims to meet the latest approaches in sculpture and installation with the art lovers.
"Strategies No.2: Space&Form", the second exhibition of "strategies" series, aims to search all of the developments and new views in today's art and gathers nine young artists. The exhibition also unites artists from different cultures, in addition to various experimental studies. Antonia Marten from Germany and İlhan Kaya from Erzurum attend to the exhibition.
At the exhibition, apart from sculpture and other materials, especially some specific installations created in the architectural context of Siemens Art catch attention. "Strategies No.2: Space&Form" underlines the idea that, apart from the "form", the "space" also has become one of the primary factors in the process of art creation. The artists involved in the exhibition prove the fact that the creation of art is inevitably dependent on the time and the medium where it is created and exhibited.
At the exhibition "Strategies No.2: Space&Form" under the curation of Marcus Graf, nine young artists point their future by analyzing today's sculpture and installation notions.
The "Strategies No.2: Space&Form" exhibition, which consists of works by Hanife Eroğlu, Ceyhun Konak, Antonia Marten, Göknil Gümüş, Fatih Sungurtekin, Şeref Erol, Çiğdem Öz, İlhan Kaya and Semra Yetik can be visited between the dates 15th July and 2nd September 2004 at Siemens Art Gallery in Fındıklı.
