Siemens Industry and Commerce Inc. is celebrating its 30th year full of successes in Bursa with art activities. Siemens which has displayed activity in Turkey since 1958 started its activities in Bursa in 1960s. It came true in 1976 that Bursa District Directorate began its activities officially by having established.
Prof. Dr. Cihat Aşkın who is world-famous violin virtuoso went on the stage accompanied by Bursa Room Orchestra in the scope of 30th year celebrations. Guests were able to stroll around the photography exhibition named "İzler(Traces)" ,which Bursa Photography Art Association- BUFSAD displayed the works of Siemens in Bursa, before the concert.
Dr. Zafer İncecik, the Chairman of the board of directors of Siemens Industry and Commerce Inc., who delivered a speech in the ceremony realized in BUTTİM Cultural Center because of 30th year celebration of Siemens Bursa District Directorate thanked to Siemens' business partners, customers and employees who are the architects of the 30-year-success, by stating that Siemens has enlarged together with Bursa in railway systems in communication, enlightment, energy, automation and health technologies.
Bursa District Directorate which was established in 1976 and is one of the four district directorates of Siemens in Turkey now takes the responsibility of totally 15 cities including Eskişehir, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ offices in front. Siemens Bursa District Directorate, which is responsible for business development regarding all fields of activity of Siemens, sales support, regional marketing and representing, has about 60 workers consisting of experts of automation and control, industrial services and solutions, medical solutions and intercommunication systems.
